Les Célestins is named for Lyon's great theatre, and borrows its moment of drama: the fall of the curtain. From the back of a low, enveloping slipper chair, a cascade of hand-cut leather fringe drops to the floor and moves with every step past it.

The seat and sweeping side shell are upholstered in Velours de Grasse nubuck in Grège. The back cushion is dressed in scaled leather in a pearled Nacre finish, and the chair stands on tapered legs of solid oak.

Made to order in the CILYON atelier, and available upon request. Leather, colour, fringe length and wood may be specified for each commission.
