L'Île Barbe is named for the small island in the Saône, just north of Lyon, where the river parts and closes around it. It is the companion to La Lône: a rounded pouf drawn in the same undulating line, as if shaped by water.

The body is upholstered in Velours de Grasse nubuck in Grège, traced with hand-stitched piping that follows its waves. The seat is dressed in scaled leather in a pearled Nacre finish, and the pouf rests on a turned plinth of solid oak.

Made to order in the CILYON atelier, and available upon request. Leather, colour and wood may be specified for each commission.
